Ingredients

These indulgent brownies just need 3 ingredients – Nutella, banana and cocoa powder.
Bananas – Choose the overripe bananas, as they are very sweet, and add the required sweetness to the brownies along with perfect gooey and fudgy texture. If you are worried about the taste of bananas in your brownies, do not worry you will taste banana in this recipe but in a good way
Nutella – Nutella is one of those spreads that has almost all the requirements checked to make the best brownies. It adds a chocolatey flavor, helps in binding the brownies, adds a fudgy and dense texture, and also adds sweetness.
Make sure you use a fresh jar of Nutella for the best texture. The old ones can get dry sometimes, and you will not achieve the same consistency in the batter. In case you want to finish up the old Nutella, then you can heat it in microwave a bit before adding to the batter.
Instead of Nutella, you can also use healthy alternatives such as almond butter, peanut butter, tahini, sunflower seed butter, etc.
Cocoa Powder – You can either go for the natural or Dutch-process. If you can get your hands on the Dutch process use it, as it adds a richer flavor and color

Add 1 cup Nutella and ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder to the blender and blend until combined.

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread evenly using a silicon spatula.
Note – You can sprinkle ¼ cup chocolate chips over the brownies at this stage if you wish to.

Keep the pan in the middle rack of the oven and bake for 17-20 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Remove the pan from the oven and let the brownies cool completely.
