Love for micro breweries has been on the rise all over India. Brewsky J P Nagar and Big Brewsky Sarjapur road in Bangalore have been leading the scene for quite some time. They have been serving crafted beers and delicious curated food. See what all I ordered from the Brewsky menu when I visited their J P Nagar outlet.
Bangalore weather, is just perfect for terrace or outdoor sitting and try out the craft beers. I loved the place instantly, bare, cosy and yet modern in its appeal. I loved the service as well; our server who suggested us items from the signature Brewsky menu, he was also friendly with the kiddo, suggesting him what to order and of course finish what he ordered!
Big Brewsky Bangalore and Brewsky Bangalore are twin outlets, one catering to micro brewery in East Bangalore and other for crowds slightly in the south.
If this is your first time, then do try my personal favorite Hefewizen wheat beer; it has just the right taste and I totally loved the flavor at Brewsky. There are other options such as IPA, Stout and Dunkelweizen. You may want to ask the server to give you a sampler before you decide. While you may also order other cocktails, the brewery is known for its beers.
For the food, there are a host of options in starters, burgers, pizza, pasta, salads and more which go well with your drinks.
I went with Nachos with chicken topped with melted mozzarella; that’s usually my choice as they pair well with the beers. For larger groups try to get some platters so you have a choice of items from the Brewsky menu.
For the main course Grilled Chicken Pizza along with olives and mushrooms & spinach & Penne pasta did a good job. Burgers are also well crafted and kids can surely enjoy the delicious white pasta.
The walnut brownie topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert was so yummy that all of us went for a second serving. You can also try the apple pie.
Going to Brewsky or Big Brewsky with your friends and family can be a great outing any day, so just head there and enjoy the hand crafted beers and menu. One advice though is to book in advance to get a perfect seating as these places do get filled in the evenings and weekends.
