This 3 ingredient and 5 minutes frozen hot chocolate is a must make drink in summers. It’s delicious, chocolaty, and super easy to make.

Want to try some more cold beverages, then here are some of my favorites – Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew, Caramel Latte, Dalgona Coffee, Vietnamese Coffee, Iced Caramel Macchiato, and Nutella Coffee.

    About This Recipe

Frozen Hot Chocolate is an insanely delicious, chocolaty, and super easy-to-make blend and serve drink that is perfect to sip on warm summer days. It is a refreshing summer treat that is quite popular in the Serendipity restaurant in NYC.

I absolutely love hot chocolate, and when I tried this frozen hot chocolate, I was amazed to see that the cold version tastes equally good. You just need 3 ingredients and 5 minutes to prepare this.

This dump and blend frozen hot cocoa is very creamy and not slushy because we have added chocolate ice cream to it. Serve it icy cold topped with whipped cream, crushed peppermint, and chocolate curls.

    This Hot Chocolate is,

    • Rich
    • Creamy
    • Unique
    • Super Easy
    • Insanely Delicious
    • Just like the cafe one

    Ingredients

Milk – Use full fat (whole) milk, for the creamy texture. You can even use skim milk or low fat milk, but full fat one gives the perfect creamy texture.

Hot Chocolate Mix – You can buy any hot chocolate mix from the market. Buy a good quality one for the best taste. You can even make it at home.

Chocolate Ice Cream – Add in some chocolate ice cream, to make it nice and thick. Chocolate ice cream also adds a nice and dominant chocolate flavor.

Toppings – Top it with whipped cream and confetti/crushed peppermint/chocolate curls to give it that cafe touch. This is optional but makes it look good.

    Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix

To make this chocolate mix from scratch, you need

    • ½ cup powdered milk
    • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • ¼ cup powdered sugar

Mix all the three ingredients and there you have, homemade chocolate mix ready. Store it in an air-tight container.

    Storage Suggestions

I would suggest you make it fresh, as it hardly takes 5 minutes to get it ready. But in case you have leftovers, store them in the fridge for just a day and not more than that. Stir it with a spoon before consuming again.
