Garlic Parmesan Shrimp served on a plate.

Shrimps are just perfect ingredients to make up a quick brunch, dinner or snack any day.

Hence, I  keep making the main course like Shrimp Chow Mein, Shrimp Quinoa Fried Rice, Garlic Shrimp Pasta Aglio E Olio, Garlic Butter Shrimp Rice etc.

But, for light brunch and supper, I think I have fallen in love with this low carb recipe of oven roasted shrimp which has a beautiful flavour of garlic and richness of parmesan cheese.

The first time I made them, these shrimps turned out uber delish.

They had this pleasing crunch and the minute I dunked them with ranch sauce, they went all tender and gooey.

Having thoroughly loved this shrimp recipe, I had to share it with you all!

How to make it at home?

Trust me, this recipe is surely a child’s play! Toss up fresh shrimps with Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, garlic, olive oil et al, line them on a baking tray in a single layer and roast them in a pre-heated oven.

Drizzle lemon juice once they are done. Yes, that is all, folks.

    Why should you eat shrimps?

The health benefits of eating shrimp are simply uncountable just like olive oil and lemon juice.

    For Weight Loss:

Shrimps contain vitamin D and even protein, so if you want to cut out some flab, eat this butter garlicky parmesan shrimp all the way.

    Keeps Your Youth Intact:

As shrimps are full of carotenoid (astaxanthin), its consumption reduces the aging of your skin and protects you from the UV rays of the sun.

    Bone and Hair Health:

The amount of zinc, proteins and various vitamins in shrimps bolsters the health of both bone and hair.

Therefore, add the shrimp diet to your life and stay in the best shape.

Call dibs on these cheesy, garlic-y shrimp munchies for you weekend special then?

You can serve them as it is or even with Yogurt Dip with Mint and Garlic, Jalapeno Garlic Feta Dip. Scroll down for its recipe, you guys! Cheerio!

    How to make it Creamy?

You can make a creamy version of Garlic and Parmesan Shrimp too. To make it, heat olive oil in a  pan.

Add shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook on both sides for 3-4 minutes and then transfer the shrimp on a plate.

Heat butter in the same pan. Add garlic and fry for a few seconds. Add white wine and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and add cream and let it come to a gentle simmer. Add parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and cook until cheese melts.

Add the shrimps and cook for another minute. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
