Prawns are one of the sea foods that is eaten often in my household. Initially, I did have few reservations about eating them but gradually they all vanished in the thin air as I came to know about their health benefits.
Prawns are considered to be one of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids which support in combating heart disease, arthritis, cancer and aids the health of the brain. Moreover, through prawns one also receives proteins.
Hence throughout the year, I make sure that we regularly eat prawns. Some of my favourite prawn recipes include Garlic Parsley Prawns, Prawns in Coconut Milk Curry, Vietnamese Mango and Prawn Salad, Grilled Sambhal Prawns et al.

Herb Garlic Roasted Prawns
Herb Garlic Roasted Prawns as its names indicates is a healthy dish made using prawns, olive oil, and a tad bit sprinkle of herbs.
- 400 g Prawns Cleaned and deveined
- 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive oil
- 2 tsp Garlic Minced
- 1 tsp Dry basil
- 1 tsp Dry oregano
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp Freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- Mix olive oil, garlic, basil, oregano, salt, pepper and red chilli flakes in a bowl.
- Add prawns and mix well.
- Pre heat the oven to 200 degrees C.
- Line the prawns on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven
- Drizzle leon juice on top.
- Serve hot with any dip of your choice.
