    Summer’s here, ladies! And its time to get rid of all the bulky jackets, blankets, shawls, of course, even to those warm cups of soups, Bajre ki Raab and more, because Mr. Sun is all set to give a tough time for the coming months?

    However, this season the good news is that we have the king of fruits coming back to the markets and for the sake of juicy, fresh and ripe mangoes, it is totally fine to bear that extra heat this summer, no, ladies?

    To get the best of mangoes, this season, I have a litany of coolers and mango-ish recipes lined up including Mango Chilli Sauce, Malaysian Ripe Mango Salad, Mango Falooda and even chilled coolers like soothing Mango Basil Soda which instantly provide relief in like minutes!

    This Mango Basil drink is very refreshing and is just a matter to 5 minutes to bring it together.

    Ingredients 

    • 1 cup Ripe Mango (Peeled and Cubed)
    • ¼ cup Basil Leaves
    • 4 tablespoon Sugar (Adjust it according to your taste)
    • Soda
    • Ice Cubes
    US Customary or Metric
    Prevent your screen from going dark

    Instructions

    • Add mango, basil and sugar in a blender and blend to make a smooth puree.
    • Add 2 tablespoon of puree in a glass.
    • Top with soda and ice.
    • Garnish with basil leaves.
    • Serve immediately.

    Notes

    You can use canned mango puree to make this recipe.
