Ingredients

Instant Coffee Powder – It doesn’t add a coffee taste but elevates the taste of chocolate.
Flour – For a healthier version, use whole wheat flour. Gluten-Free flour will work well in this recipe too.
Sugar – You can adjust the amount of sugar in the brownies as per your taste. You can even substitute it with brown sugar, coconut sugar, or jaggery but the texture and taste will differ a bit.
How to make Nutella Brownies?
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line an 8×8 inch baking tray with parchment paper. Let the paper overhang from all the sides. It will be easier to lift the brownies using the overhang. Mix all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and instant coffee powder in a bowl.

Heat butter in a pan over low heat until it melts.

Add sugar and mix well. Cook until sugar dissolves.

Remove the pan from heat. Add Nutella and mix well. Let the mixture cool slightly.

Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.

Add the dry mixture and mix until combined.

Pour the batter in the prepared pan.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until a tooth pick comes out clean. Cool and serve.

Pro Tips By Neha
You can microwave the Nutella until warm and runny so that it becomes easy to mix it in the batter.
Add in an extra yolk of egg to make the Brownies extra fudgy and chewy.
Salt is optional, but I like how it balances out the extra sweetness in the Nutella Brownies.
If you want to cool down the Brownies fast, place them in the freezer for about an hour, then slice and serve.
Do not add more flour, otherwise, the brownies will turn out dry and will not be dense and fudgy.
Add chocolate chips or chopped nuts in the batter for a nice crunch.
Reduce the sugar if you like your brownies less sweet.

How wonderful! Kids today are lucky – nutella was little known in the US when I was a kid, and certainly not a staple. Love this recipe!
