Olives Garlic Focaccia Recipe
Focaccia is a flat bread made using yeast and olive oil. Olives Garlic Focaccia Bread Recipe gives you one of the most delicious Focaccia.
For the pre ferment
- 350 g All Purpose Flour
- 30 g Vital Gluten Optional
- 300 ml Luke Warm water
- 4 tsp Active Dry Yeast
- 1 tbsp Sugar
For the dough
- 500 g All Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Garlic Chopped
- 2 tbsp Green Olives Pitted and Halved
- 2 tbsp Black Olives Pitted and Halved
Mix the ingredients for the pre ferment in a bowl and cover and keep aside for an hour or until it doubles in size.
Mix all purpose flour for the dough, olive oil and salt in bowl and add the pre ferment in it.
Knead the mixture to make a soft dough.
Add some more if water if required.
Transfer the dough on a slightly floured surface and knead for 10-12 minutes.
Cover the dough and keep aside for 30 minutes.
Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Transfer the dough on the baking tray and spread it using your fingers to make a circle.
Press garlic and olives in the dough and drizzle some olive oil on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until focaccia is nicely browned from top.
Remove the focaccia from oven and serve warm.
You can use part all purpose flour and part whole wheat flour to make this recipe.
