The great thing about my work is that I’m able to explore on my own; be it recipes or user behaviors or various platforms. One specific platform that I’ve explored over the last few weeks is Tangi by Google, and I’m going to tell you about my experience on it.
What is Tangi?
Earlier in 2020 Google Area 120 launched its short-form video platform called Tangi. It focusses on multiple creators showing their creativity and DIY videos to the audience. If you are a Art, Beauty, Cooking, DIY, Decor, Lifestyle or parenting creator; this is a great platform to explore in its early days.
Over the course of last few weeks, I’ve already uploaded close to 100 videos on Tangi!!! See my Tangi Profile and don’t forget to subscribe to my channel…
How to upload videos on this platform?
The platform is pretty easy to understand; you can upload videos through the mobile app or using the desktop website. Just click on the small + sign near your profile and upload the video. Since it is a short-form video platform; your video should be less than 60 seconds to upload
You can choose a specific thumbnail and category for your video. Give it a title, caption and keywords and you are done!
If you want you can also add an affiliate link on the video. I’ve also marked a couple of my videos as Exclusive to Tangi; which means that there are not posted elsewhere.
How do I embed these Videos into my blog?
Well this is pretty easy too… Just go to your video and at the bottom you would see a small button like </>. Clicking on this you would get the iframe embed code which you can use to embed the video on your blog or elsewhere.

Does Tangi give me opportunities to earn?
Great question! It is still early day’s for the platform; however I’ve seen many contests running on the platform like a healthy snack challenge or a craft challenge which is sponsored by a brand. It generally includes a give away and small prizes. I’m sure as the platform matures; the opportunities will increase.
