I’ve always had a close connection with North India specially Lucknow, more so after I did my graduation from the lovely city of Awadh. When I got to know that the newly launched Tiger Trail @ Royal Orchid, Bangalore has got two great chef’s from Lucknow, I just couldn’t resist being part of the celebration. Royal Orchid has played a great hosts to me and my family a number of times, the green sprawling lawns beside the lush KGA, Golf Course give a perfect backdrop to the hotel. Now these very lawns host the newly launched Tiger Trail Restaurant serving a variety of authentic kebabs and grills from across the Indian sub continent. The star dishes include Kokari Kebab, Murgh Gulnar, Subzi Kehkeshan, Yakhani Pulao, Awadhi Briyani, Kandhari Naan, Sheermal, Taftan and many more.
The cozy ambiance provides a perfect spot for a family get together or a chat with your close buddies while the great personalized service takes care of the rest to make your evening extra special.
The main course is perfectly paired with breads, among which you have to try out the Taftan. This unique variety of bread is made with a dough kneaded with only milk giving it a great taste. The menu is carefully chosen to give you an authentic taste from across India.
I thoroughly enjoyed the evening with my family. The menu, ambiance and service makes it a must visit place for people who love kebabs and authentic North Indian curries. Give it a try and I’m sure you would love it too.
