STEP 1

Chop 4 hard-boiled eggs into small pieces. Set them aside.

STEP 2

Heat butter and oil. Once the oil is hot, add chopped onions, finely chopped green chilies, finely chopped ginger, and finely chopped garlic, and fry until the onions are light brown in colour. Stir frequently while frying.

STEP 3

Now, add finely chopped tomatoes, salt and cook for another minute. Mash the tomatoes with the back of the ladle while cooking.

Next, add coriander powder,  turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala, and Kashmiri red chilli powder, and cook for 30-40 seconds, stirring continuously.

STEP 4

Add the chopped hard-boiled eggs to the pan and mix well with the masala.

STEP 5

Add lime juice and chopped cilantro and mix well. Serve hot.
