STEP 1

Pour whole (full-fat) milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, and unsweetened cocoa powder into a pan and cook on medium heat until the milk comes to a boil. Keep stirring frequently.

STEP 2

Add dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract and espresso and cook until the chocolate chips dissolve and the hot chocolate is thick and creamy.

Pour the hot chocolate into serving mugs. Serve immediatly.
