How to make an INDIAN  OMELETTE

STEP 1

Break 2 eggs in a medium size mixing bowl. Whisk them well using a wire whisk or a fork.

STEP 2

Add onion,  tomato, green capsicum, green chilli, coriander, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, milk, and salt to the bowl and whisk well.

STEP 3

Heat an 8-inch non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add 1 tsp ghee to the pan and spread it all over the pan.

STEP 4

Pour the egg mixture into the heated pan and swirl the pan to spread the eggs evenly. Cook on medium heat until the lower side is set in about 2-3 minutes

STEP 5

Flip the omelette using a flat spatula and cook from the other side as well until it is set in about 2 min. Serve with toasted bread slices.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS The best companion to this omelette is soft white bread slices, toasted bread slices, or even a pav. Do not forget to serve ketchup on the side. I also like to serve it with plain tawa paratha wrapped inside a roti or topped over rice dishes like veg fried rice, mushroom fried rice, etc
