Add water and strawberries to a saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat. Once the water comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Switch off the heat and add loose green tea leaves to the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and let the tea steep for 2 minutes.
Add honey and mix well. Once the tea is ready, strain it and cool it to room temperature. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
Add chopped strawberries and 1-2 lime slices to the serving glass.
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Pour the tea over ice and serve immediately.
