Olive Tapenade Pasta

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, subtracting 1 minute from the recommended cooking time.

STEP 1

While your pasta is cooking, heat extra virgin olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Stir in breadcrumbs and toast them until golden brown (1-2 minutes), stirring continuously.

STEP 2

Add the drained pasta to the pan along with olive tapenade and ½ cup of pasta water.

STEP 3

Toss well to combine, adding additional pasta water if needed. Add parmesan cheese, parsley, and lemon juice and toss well to combine.

STEP 4

 Season the pasta well with salt, freshly ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.

STEP 5

Garnish with grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and red pepper flakes, and serve hot.
