This Boar's Head CopycatPumpkin Pie Hummus is a sweet dip that will become your go-to fall dessert once you try it! It's an inviting combination of real pumpkin puree, warming fall spices, chickpeas, tahini, and vanilla extract.
115 ouncescan chickpeasno salt added or low sodium, drained and rinsed.
½cuptahini
½cupmaple syrup
1cuppumpkin puree
2teaspoonspumpkin pie spice
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
¼cupwater
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor or blender.
Blend until smooth. Scrape the sides of the blender a few times while blending.
Note – Add some more water while blending if the hummus is too thick for your liking.
Do a little taste test to see if you want to add a little more spice or extra sweetness to get your desired flavor.
Refrigerate the hummus for at least an hour.
Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, toasted pepitas, and chocolate chips.
Serve it chilled or at room temperature with apple slices of graham crackers.
Notes
This recipe serves 4 but can be easily doubled or tripled.You can replace the tahini with any other nut butter like cashew butter, pistachio butter or almond butter.
