Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Zeera / Cumin Seeds
  • 2 cups Pineapple Peeled and Cubed
  • 1 tsp Green Chilli
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Dry Mango Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Chopped

Instructions

  1. Blend coconut, green chilli and sugar in a blender until smooth.

  2. Add little water if required to grind.

  3. Heat 3 cups water in a pan.

  4. Once the water starts to boil, add pineapple piece to it and boil for 5-6 minutes.

  5. Drain the water and keep the pineapple and water aside.

  6. Heat ghee in a pan.

  7. Once the ghee is hot, add cumin seeds and let them crackle for a few seconds.

  8. Add the coconut paste and 1/2 cup water from boiled pineapple and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  9. Add the boiled pineapple and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  10. Now add the amchoor powder and salt and cook for 5-6 minutes.

  11. Garnish with fresh coriander.

  12. Serve hot.
