Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cup Egg Noodles Boiled
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour
  • Oil for Frying the noodles
  • 15 Almonds
  • 10-12 Walnuts
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Black Sesame Seeds Roasted
  • 1/2 tsp White Sesame Seeds Roasted
  • 4 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream

Instructions

  1. Completely dry the boiled noodles on a kitchen towel.

  2. Add cornflour to noodles and gently mix it to coat nicely. 

  3. This is to absorb any moisture left.

  4. Heat oil for frying in a pan. 

  5. When it becomes hot, deep fry the noodles in batches till golden and crisp.

  6. Transfer the noodles to an absorbent paper. 

  7. Crush them slightly.

  8. Blanch the almonds in boiling water for 5-10 mins. 

  9. Then remove its skin.

  10. Dry roast almonds and walnuts till light golden spots appear on them.

  11. To prepare the sauce, add butter in a pan. 

  12. Let it melt. 

  13. Add sugar and water. 

  14. Let the sugar caramelise and become slightly brown in colour.

  15. Add honey and mix well. 

  16. Keep the flame on low.

  17. Quickly stir in both the sesame seeds( keep some aside for garnishing), walnuts and almonds.

  18. Gently stir in fried noodles. 

  19. Coat the noodles with the sauce. 

  20. Switch off the flame.

  21. Place the noodles on a serving plate.

  22. Serve it hot with chilled vanilla ice cream scoops.

  23. Garnish with leftover sesame seeds and drizzle some honey on top of ice cream.
