Step By step Authentic Kashmiri Tea Kahwa Recipe or Kashmiri Tea recipe which is a traditional Kashmiri tea flavored with various spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Green Tea
  • 3 cups Water
  • 10-12 strands Saffron
  • 1/2 inch stick Cinnamon
  • 1 Clove
  • 1 Cardamom Crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Dried rose petals
  • 2 tsp Almonds Silvered
  • 1 tsp Honey Optional

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a pan.

  2. Add saffron, cinnamon, cloves, dried rose petals and cardamom in water and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.

  3. Switch off the heat and add green tea in the water.

  4. Let the tea steep for a minute.

  5. Strain the kahwa in 2 cups.

  6. Add almond slivers and a few strands of saffron.

  7. Add honey if required.

  8. Serve hot.

Recipe Notes

If Kashmiri green tea is not available, you can use green tea to make kahwa.
