Thai Green Chicken Curry is a very aromatic, delicious curry, made with the traditional Thai green curry paste. Here is how to make it.



  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 4 tbsp Green curry paste
  • 300 g Chicken breast
  • 1 Red pepper Cut into slices
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 2 Kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 tsp Red chilli Chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • 5-6 leaves Thai basil
  • 2-3 Lemon wedges


  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add green curry paste and saute for a minute until it’s aromatic.
  3. Add chicken and fry for a minute.
  4. Add red pepper, coconut milk, water, kaffir lime leaves and red chilli and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Add lemon juice, brown sugar and basil and cook for another minute.
  6. Garnish with lemon wedge, basil leaves and red chilli.
  7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
