Vanilla Sugar

  • Vanilla beans - 5
  • Sugar - 1 kg


  1. Transfer the sugar in a jar.
  2. Slit the vanilla beans using a sharp knife.
  3. Add them in the jar and close the lid tightly.
  4. Store the jar in a cool and dry place for up to 3 week.
  5. Keep shaking the jar after every week.
  6. Vanilla sugar is ready to be used.
  7. To get more intense flavours, you can keep the jar for longer time before using the sugar.
  8. You can increase the amount of sugar and beans to make more quantity.
