  • Chenna home made - 250 g
  • Fresh cream - 100 g
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Saffron - 15-20 strands Soaked in 2 tbsp milk
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Almond and pistachio slivers for garnishing
  • Silver foil for garnishing


  1. Add chenna and fresh cream in a non stick pan and cook on medium heat till it starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  2. Keep stirring continuously.
  3. Add cardamom powder, saffron soaked in milk and sugar nd cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from heat.
  5. Let the mixture cool.
  6. Mash the mixture nicely with the heels of your hand until it is smooth.
  7. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into ladoos.
  8. Garnish with almond and pistachio slivers.
  9. Apply silver foil on top.
