Ingredients

  • For the filling
  • Strawberry - 250 g sliced
  • Honey - 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
  • Balsamic vinegar - 1/2 tsp
  • Almond powder - 15 g
  • For the crumble
  • All purpose flour - 75 g
  • Brown sugar - 30 g
  • Cold butter - 40 g
  • Almond flakes - 50 g

Instructions

  1. For the filling
  2. Mix all the ingredients for filling in a bowl.
  3. keep aside for 15 minutes.
  4. For the crumble
  5. Mix flour and brown sugar in a bowl.
  6. Add the butter and cut it into the flour using a fork.
  7. The mixture must resemble a coarse bread crumb.
  8. Assembly
  9. Pre heat the oven to 200 degree C.
  10. Fill 4 ramekins with the strawberry mixture.
  11. Cover with the crumble.
  12. Top with almond flakes.
  13. Bake for 20-25 minutes till the juices run out.
  14. If the surface starts to darken too fast, cover with a sheet of aluminium foil.
  15. Serve hot with a scoop of ice cream.
