Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh Pineapple Peeled and Chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Blend pineapple and garlic in a blender to make a coarse mixture.

  2. Add the pineapple mixture in a pan alone with pineapple juice, vinegar, lemon juice, lemon zest, brown sugar, red chilli flakes and salt.

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 5-6 minutes.

  4. Mix cornflour in water and add it in the pan.

  5. Cook until sauce thickens.

  6. Remove the pan from heat and let the sauce cool down.

  7. Store in a glass jar for up to a week in refrigerator.
