Ingredients

For the filling

  • 400 g Strawberries Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch

For the topping

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 4 tbsp Unslated Butter Melted
  • 3/4 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 Degrees C (350 Degrees F).

  2. Add strawberries in an 8x8 inch baking tray.

  3. Add sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch and mix well.

  4. Mix the ingredients for topping in another bowl until smooth.

  5. Pour the topping over the strawberries and spread evenly.

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is browned and crispy.

  7. Serve the warm cobbler with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Recipe Notes

You can use frozen strawberries to make a strawberry cobbler as well. Thaw the strawberries in refrigerator overnight and follow the recipe as is.
