Ingredients

  • 500 g Boneless Chicken Breast
  • 4 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Lime Zest
  • 1 tsp Garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro Minced
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breast to even thickness. If they are too large, you can cut them in half. 

  2. Mix all the remaining ingredient in a bowl.

  3. Add chicken breast and coat them well with the marinade.

  4. Keep aside for 30 minutes.

  5. Pre heat an oven to 400 Degrees F (200 Degrees C).

  6. Keep the chicken on a baking tray.

  7. Pour the remaining marinade on top .

  8. Bake for 22-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

  9. Remove the tray from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5-6 minutes.

  10. Cut the grilled chicken into slices.

  11. Serve with a salsa and steamed rice.

Recipe Notes

You can use boneless chicken breast to make this recipe too. It will be even more juicier.

You can skip adding soy sauce in this recipe for a change in taste.
