This Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken is a great recipe which comes together very easily and is super easy to make. Served over rice or with mashed potatoes, it's gluten free too. Here is how to make honey garlic slow cooker chicken recipe.



  • 3-4 Chicken Breast Boneless
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 2 tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Spring Onion Greens Chopped


  1. Wash the chicken breast and place them in the pot of the slow cooker.

  2. Whisk garlic, honey, ketchup, sriracha and soy sauce in a bowl.

  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts.

  4. Cover the lid of the slow cooker and cook for 6-8 hours on low.

  5. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the chicken pieces on a chopping board and shred it into small pieces using a fork.

  6. Transfer the shredded chicken back into the slow cooker and mix well with the sauce.

  7. Mix corn starch in water to make a slurry.

  8. Add the slurry in the slow cooker and slow cook for another hour.

  9. Garnish the chicken with toasted sesame seeds and green onion.

  10. Serve hot.
