Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 Degrees C).
Grease and line a loaf pan.
In the bowl of your mixer, add butter and sugar and whisk until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time and whisk well after each addition.
Add orange zest, orange juice and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder and cranberries and mix until combined.
Transfer the batter in the prepared pan.
Bake for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove the pan from the oven and let the bread cool for 10 minutes.
Transfer the bread on a cooling rack and cool completely.
Mix the ingredients for glaze in a bowl.
Pour the glaze over the cooled bread.
Cut the bread into slices and serve.
Add nuts like pecan, walnuts or almonds in the bread batter to give it a nice crunch.
Use almond flour in place of all purpose flour to make a gluten free version.
