Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 10-12 Cashew Nuts Broken
  • 10-12 Almonds Broken
  • 10-12 Raisins
  • 1 cup Carrot Grated
  • 500 ml Full Fat Milk
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan.

  2. Fry cashew nuts, almonds and raisins for a few seconds.

  3. Add carrots in the pan and fry for 4-5 minutes until raw smell goes off.

  4. Add milk in the pan and bring it to a boil.

  5. Simmer the heat and cook the kheer for 20-25 minutes.

  6. Add sugar and cardamom powder and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

  7. Serve hot or chilled.

Recipe Notes

To make creamy carrot kheer, boil the carrots and puree them.

Now cook this puree in milk
