Making Jasmine Rice in Instant Pot or Electric Pressure Cooker has become my favorite method to cook it. It's gives perfect result every time and is a hands off method. Here is how to make Instant Pot Jasmine Rice Recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Jasmine Rice
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2-3 drops Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the rice and drain the excess water.

  2. Add the rice in the pot of the Instant Pot.

  3. Add water, lemon juice and salt and close the lid of the instant pot.

  4. Set the valve to sealing position.

  5. Press pressure cooker and set the timer to 3 minutes.

  6. Instant pot will take some time to build the steam and then it will start the cooking process.

  7. Once the cooking time is complete, let the steam release on it’s own for 10 minutes.

  8. Release the steam by moving the valve to open position.

  9. Open the lid and fluff the rice gently using a fork.

  10. Serve hot.

Recipe Notes

Don't soak Jasmine Rice before cooking otherwise it will get mushy.
