Make this Harry Potter Copycat Pumpkin Juice from the wizarding world of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. Thisnon-alcoholic punch is a perfect fall drink for kids and adults.
Combine apple cider, orange juice, pear nectar, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice in a large pot.
Heat on medium-high heat until the juice just starts to boil, stirring frequently to avoid scorching at the bottom of the pan.
Once the juice comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and cook for 10-15 minutes. Stir frequently.
Finally, add vanilla extract and mix well. Serve hot or chill for 4-5 hours before serving.
You can add a cinnamon stick to the serving glass to stir the juice.
Notes
Pass the juice through a fine-mesh strainer if the pumpkin puree has not dissolved properly.Spike it with any alcohol of your choice (bourbon, rum, vodka, tequila, etc) to make an adult version. You can use apricot or peach nectar in place of pear nectar. If these nectars are not available, you can just puree the fruits with some water and use the puree in the recipe. You can pour your pumpkin juice straight from a large pitcher but for extra fun, use a ladle to serve it from a large pot or a cauldron. My Harry Potter Pumpkin Juice Recipe serves 10 people but you can easily half, double, or triple the recipe as per your requirements.
