Steam or froth hot milk using a manual or electric milk frother. You can also use a steamer if you have one.
Divide the coffee mixture between 2 serving mugs.
Divide the milk between the mugs. Use a spoon to scoop some of the foam and top it on coffee.
Top with a dusting of ground cinnamon and serve immediately. You can also top it with some whipped cream and slide a gingerbread man cookie on the side.
Iced Gingerbread Latte - Add espresso, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, molasses, and chilled milk to a blender and blend until everything comes together. Add some ice cubes into the serving glasses and pour the coffee over the ice cubes. Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon and serve chilled.Make an adult variation by adding a splash of rum, Kahlua, baileys, or bourbon. You can easily double or triple the recipe. You can substitute the molasses with white sugar, brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup.Use whole milk (full-fat milk) for the best creamy coffee. Having said that, skim, low-fat or plant-based milk (almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, soy milk, etc) also works fine. Keep in consideration that plant-based milk does not froth well.
