Make this super refreshing and easy fresh pineapple juice at home in under 10 minutes. It is sweet and tangy with that perfect amount of tartness. This nutrient-rich beverage is apt to freshen you up in summer. Here is how to make it.
Start by preparing the pineapple. Lay a medium-size ripe pineapple on its side and chop of the top and bottom part exposing the flesh. Now keep the pineapple upright and cut the skin off the flesh along with the eyes. Cut the peeled pineapple into slices and then chop the slices into 1-inch pieces.
Add the pineapple pieces to a blender along with water, sugar, and black salt. Don’t add the sugar if the pineapple is very sweet.
Blend until smooth.
Strain the juice using a fine-mesh strainer. Be sure to press out all the juice by pressing the pulp with the back of a spoon or a spatula. Discard the residual pulp as it is very fibrous.
Pour the juice into serving glasses. Add a few ice cubes, garnish with mint leaves, and pineapple wedge. Serve immediately.

Sugar is optional. Add it only if you feel it’s needed. Sometimes the pineapple is very sweet and needs no extra sweetener.
