This easy Nutella brownies as the name reveals combines the best of both the worlds, soft chewy brownies, and Nutella :). Slightly crunchy on the top and gooey in the center, they are a treat to the taste buds. Here is how to make these.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f (180 degrees C).
Line an 8x8 inch baking tray with parchment paper. Let it hand out from the pan a bit on all sides.
Mix all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and instant coffee powder in a bowl.
Heat butter in a pan over low heat until it melts.
Add sugar and mix well.
Cook until sugar dissolves.
Remove the pan from heat.
Add Nutella and mix well.
Let the mixture cool slightly.
Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.
Add the dry mixture and mix until combined.
Pour the batter in the prepared pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until a tooth pick comes out clean.
Cool and serve.
Notes
You can use whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour to make these brownies slightly healthier. To make an eggless version, mix 3 tablespoon flax seeds powder and 3-4 tablespoon water and use this paste in place of eggs. You can microwave the Nutella until warm and runny so that it becomes easy to mix it in the batter.Add in an extra yolk of egg to make the Brownies extra fudgy and chewy.Salt is optional, but I like how it balances out the extra sweetness in the Nutella Brownies. If you want to cool down them fast, place them in the freezer for about an hour, then slice and serve.Do not add more flour, otherwise, the brownies will turn out dry and will not be dense and fudgy.Add chocolate chips or chopped nuts in the batter for a nice crunch.Reduce the sugar if you like your brownies less sweet.
