Ingredients

cup
soy sauce
replace with tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free recipe

sweet chili sauce

Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients, except cornstarch.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat.
Mix cornstarch with
¼
cup of water to make a slurry.
Stir the slurry into the sauce and continue to cook until the sauce thickens to your liking.
Remove from heat.
Taste the sauce and adjust the sweetness or spiciness according to your preference by adding more honey or red pepper flakes.
Allow the sauce to cool before using it. It will thicken slightly as it cools.
