Fruit Cream is an Indian dessert where a mix of fresh fruits is added to a creamy base. This fruit salad with cream is super easy to make and tastes very refreshing. Make it using my easy recipe.
Add cream and yogurt to a bowl. Whisk using an electric whisk or a hand-held wire whisk until smooth and creamy.
We are not looking for a soft or stiff peak consistency. The cream and yogurt must blend well and be smooth and creamy.
Add sugar and vanilla extract and whisk until the sugar dissolves.
Now add the chopped fruits and crushed nuts and mix well.
Toss apple and banana pieces in 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. This prevents browning and adds the faintest brightness, balancing the sweetness of the cream. Pat all fruit gently dry with a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
Chill for 2 hours and serve chilled.

You can skip any fruit if you don’t like its taste or it's not available.You can also add sapota, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, papaya, custard apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, figs, plums, cherries, black grapes, dragon fruit, passion fruit, etc.I do not suggest adding melons such as watermelon, cantaloupe, or musk melon, as they may make the fruit cream watery. Pineapple is also not recommended as it will make the cream bitter after refrigeration.
