Notes
If mangoes are not in season, use frozen mangoes or canned mango pulp (puree) instead. To reduce the heating qualities of mangoes, soak them in water in a bowl or pan for 1-2 hours before using. You can replace water with coconut water or orange juice to make the juice a little more nutritious. Tender coconut water or orange juice also helps neutralize the' heating properties of mangoes. To jazz up the juice, you can add more ingredients, such as fresh mint leaves, basil leaves, fresh ginger, black salt, freshly squeezed lemon juice, etc.Adding soaked chia seeds to the mango juice is also a good idea, as it helps cool down your body.Replace sugar with any other sweetener of your choice, like honey, maple syrup, or sugar-free substitutes like stevia or monk fruit.
