Orange Kulukki Recipe
Kulukki Sarbath
is a Kerala stye refreshing summer drink. The term means Shaken in Malayam and so it gets it's name. Here is how to make it.

Ingredients

teaspoon
Basil Seeds

Green Chilli
slit into half
½
teaspoon
Ginger
finely chopped

tablespoon
Lime Juice

tablespoon
Powdered Sugar

cup
Chilled Water

cup
Fresh Orange Juice
4-6
Mint Leaves
2-3
Lime Rounds
Ice Cubes
as required
Instructions
Soak basil seeds in ½ cup water for 15-20 minutes.
Add green chilli, ginger, lime juice, powdered sugar, orange juice and mint leaves in a glass bottle.
Tighten the lid and shake it vigorously.
Fill a glass with ice cubes.
Pour the shaken mixture over the ice.
Add soaked basil seeds and lime roundels in the glass and mix gently.
Serve chilled.

You can replace orange juice with coconut water, soda or mango juice.
