Add the chopped amla, ginger, water, and black salt into the medium jar of a blender and blend until smooth.
Pass the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer and discard the pulp. Press the pulp with the back of a spoon to get as much juice as possible.
Amla juice is ready to drink. Pour it in small shot glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
Do not drink more than 10-20 ml of this juice every day, as it has its own side effects too. And also make sure to drink it as soon as you prepare the juice. Amla gets oxidized very soon and the juice will taste very bitter if not had immediately.To reduce the tartness and bitterness of amla, soak the whole amla in salted water for 1-2 hours.
