Now rotate the two halves in the opposite direction and separate them from each other.
Using a paring knife, remove the seed and discard it.
Now scoop out the avocado flesh using a large spoon and add it to the medium jar of a blender.
Add the remaining ingredients to the jar and blend to make a smooth dressing. Scrap the sides of the jar a few times while blending.
Add some water if the dressing is thick for your liking.
Check for salt and pepper and add more if needed.
The dressing is ready. Store it in a mason jar and use it as required. Make sure to shake or stir it well before using it.

This recipe will yield approximately 2 cups of dressing. You can easily half, double or triple the recipe.If the avocado is raw, it will taste very bitter. So be very careful while choosing it.You can use fat-free sour cream or Greek yogurt instead of regular sour cream and mayonnaise.Reduce the amount of garlic if you do not like the garlicky flavor.
