About This Recipe

Some dressings make you go ‘WOW’ with their first taste. It happened to me when I first ate this salad at Chick-fil-A, which had a creamy texture from Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing. I must say, it was love at the first bite.

It tastes like guacamole, green goddess, and ranch dressing, all in one bite.

But unfortunately, they don’t sell their dressing separately. So when I returned home, I decided to recreate the dressing, and after just a few attempts, I got very close.

I am sharing my version of this Chick-fil-A Copycat Avocado Ranch Dressing Recipe with you all to try.

This spicy and tangy dressing is super rich and creamy. It comes together in under five minutes and uses a few simple ingredients.

This Chick-fil-A copycat dressing can be served as a dip with fried starters, crackers, chips, etc., or added to tacos, sandwiches, burgers, and wraps. It is super versatile and tastes heavenly!

The homemade dressing is prepared with high-quality and real ingredients, has no artificial color, no non-GMO oil, and is also free of preservatives.

It is vegetarian and gluten-free, and this recipe will yield approximately 2 cups of dressing.

Avocado – Ripe avocado adds a perfect creamy texture to the dressing. If the avocado is even slightly raw, it will taste bitter, so be very careful while choosing it.

Since you blend the avocado in this recipe, this avocado lime dressing is a great way to use up slightly oxidized or bruised avocados.

Lime Juice and Lime Zest – These two ingredients give the dressing a lovely tang and a refreshing flavor.

Sour cream and mayonnaise make up the base of this dressing.

To make the dressing healthier, you can use fat-free sour cream or Greek yogurt instead of regular sour cream and mayonnaise.

Garlic – Reduce the amount of garlic if you don’t like the garlicky flavor.

Cilantro – Use fresh cilantro leaves for the best flavor.

Seasonings – To enhance the flavor of the dressing, you will need mixed Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper.
