tablespoon
grated ginger
1
green tea bag
or
1
tablespoon loose green tea leaves
2
teaspoons
maple syrup
or any other sweetener you prefer

teaspoon
freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions
Put water in a saucepan and add ginger. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. This will allow the ginger to infuse the water.
After 5 minutes, turn off the heat and add a green tea bag (or loose tea leaves).
Cover the saucepan and let it steep for 1 minute.
Strain the tea into serving cups or a teapot, removing the ginger pieces and the tea leaves.
Add your preferred sweetener to taste and lime juice, and stir well.
Serve hot.
