Mango Iced Tea is a refreshing, fruity ice tea recipe made using ripe, juicy mangoes. Make this tropical drink from scratch at home using five simple ingredients.
Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat.
Once the water comes to a boil, switch off the heat and stir in tea leaves (or tea bags). Cover the pan with a lid and let the tea steep for 1-2 minutes or until the desired level of strength.
Strain the brewed tea in a pitcher.
Stir in sugar (or any other sweetener of your choice) until dissolved.
Stir in the mango puree, lime juice, and mint leaves. Refrigerate the tea for 1-2 hours.
Fill 4 tall serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour the tea over the ice, garnish with mint leaves, and serve immediately.

Notes
You can replace black tea with green tea or Earl Grey tea.Replace mint leaves with basil leaves for a flavor change.Use any sweetener like sugar, maple syrup, agave nectar, or honey (not vegan). If you brew the tea leaves for a long time, the brewed tea turns bitter. Do not brew the tea for more than 2 minutes. You can also make this tea with green raw mangoes instead of ripe ones. Just puree green mango and use the puree to make the tea. The tea will have a tangy taste. Increase the amount of sweetener to balance the tang.
