Passion Fruit Iced Tea is a refreshing drink that is easy to make and comes together in 15 minutes. Make it from fresh passion fruits using my easy recipe.
Heat water in a saucepan over medium-high. Once the water comes to a boil, switch off the heat. Add tea leaves and mint leaves, and let the tea steep for 2 minutes.
Strain the tea using a tea strainer in a pitcher.
Let the tea cool down for 10-15 minutes. You can refrigerate it to fasten the cooling process.
Add sugar, lime juice, and passion fruit pulp and mix well until the sugar is dissolved. You can refrigerate the tea at this stage for 2-3 days if you want to make it in advance.
Fill 4 glasses with ice cubes until they are ¾th full. Add a few mint leaves and 1-2 lime roundels to each glass.
Pour the tea over ice and serve immediately.

Do not over steep otherwise the tea will become bitter.You can replace black tea leaves with green tea leaves. Instead of loose tea, you can use 1 tea bag for 2 teaspoons of loose tea.If you don’t like passion fruit seeds, you can strain the pulp using a fine-mesh strainer and use the juice.
