Add pineapple pieces, sliced ginger, sliced turmeric (or turmeric powder), and water to a large pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, strain the mixture into a large pitcher or a bowl, pressing the solids with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
Add honey and stir until it is completely dissolved.
Stir in lemon juice.
Pour the tea into tea cups and serve hot.
To make iced tea, allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
Serve over ice cubes.
