About Pineapple Ginger Tea

If you read my blogs, you know my love for teas. I am always looking for new flavors to add to my collection.

Recently, I visited a restaurant and saw pineapple ginger tea on the menu. It sounded very interesting, so without wasting any time, I ordered myself a cup. I am so glad I did. It was one of the most comforting and soothing teas I had tasted.

After coming back home, the first thing I did was order a pineapple. This tea was made on repeat for the next few days. I made it without tea leaves, but you can also make it with them.

Enjoy this drink chilled on a hot summer day, or serve it warm during the colder months.

Ingredients

Pineapple – Choose a ripe pineapple to make this tea.

Ginger – Fresh ginger roots give this tea a spicy kick. If fresh ginger is unavailable, use ground ginger in its place.

Turmeric – Use fresh turmeric roots or turmeric powder.

Others – You will also need honey, lemon juice, and ice cubes.

Replace honey with maple syrup or agave nectar to make a vegan tea.

To make this drink with tea leaves, add a teaspoon of black tea, chamomile, green tea, oolong tea, or Earl Grey tea.
