Ingredients

chilled kesar elaichi srikhand
1
cup
chilled buttermilk (plain chaas)
mix

cup plain yogurt with ¾ water if chaas is not available.

chilled whole milk (full-fat milk)

teaspoon
ground cardamom

teaspoon
ground nutmeg

saffron
soaked in

almond and pistachio slivers for garnishing

Instructions
Add shrikhand, buttermilk, and milk to a blender.
Add cardamom, nutmeg, and saffron and blend until everything comes together.
Check for sugar and add if needed. Blend until combined.
Pour piyush into serving glasses. Garnish with almond and pistachio slivers and serve chilled.

You can prepare piyush and store it in an airtight container in the fridge for about 2 days. Stir it well before drinking.
