butter
salted or unsalted

teaspoons
minced garlic

tablespoon
all-purpose flour

milk

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
ground black pepper

teaspoon
ground nutmeg

Instructions
Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
Once the butter is melted, add garlic and cook for 30-40 seconds.
Add flour and saute for 30-40 seconds.
Pour milk slowly and whisk simultaneously to make a smooth mixture.
Add salt, black pepper, and nutmeg and mix well
Cook until the sauce thickens, stirring continuously.
Remove the pan from the heat and whisk in sour cream
Pasta sauce is ready. Use it as desired.

You can add the seasoning of your choice such as Cajun seasoning, mustard, red pepper flakes, paprika, etc for added flavor.
