With Summer, comes some of my favorite fruits! And one of them is Peach. I do enjoy it as it is, but what I enjoy more is making desserts using Peach. The recent one to join my favorites bandwagon is this Baked Peaches.
Peaches slit into half and baked with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and butter, these peaches are just heavenly. They are tender, juicy and the caramelized top will surely satisfy your sweet tooth.
It is an easy dessert that gets ready in just 30 minutes, and therefore it is apt to impress your guest and family members when you serve this for dessert after your Summer weekend brunch.
When it comes to Summer fruit desserts, these Peaches are my favorite way of indulging with a chilled scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream.

Peaches – Make sure you get ripe peaches, as they are sweet and taste best when used in the desserts.
Sugar – You can use either normal sugar or even brown sugar to sprinkle on the Peaches.
Cinnamon Powder – This does all the magic! The beautiful taste and aroma of cinnamon powder on the soft and tender peaches are just heavenly.
Butter – A small cube of butter is added on the top so that it melts and caramelizes the sugar well.
Step By Step Recipe
Pre heat the oven to 375 Degrees F. Slice the peaches in half and remove the pit.
Arrange the halves on a baking tray.
Keep a small piece of butter over each half.
Mix sugar and cinnamon powder in a bowl.
Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches.
Bake for 18-20 minis until peaches are golden brown from the top. Top with your favorite topping and serve.

To check if Peach is ripe, press it a little with your fingers. If it presses lightly inside and is soft, it means your Peaches are ripened. Do not press too hard, it might bruise the Peach.

These Baked Peaches lasts for about 4-5 days in the refrigerator, when stored in an airtight container. If you have any leftover sugar-cinnamon mixture, you can store that too, and add a little again on top while reheating.
To reheat, place the refrigerated peaches in a bowl or a plate and microwave it for about 30 seconds. If reheating in the oven, then place them in a baking sheet and heat at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.
