About Frozen Spring Rolls In Air Fryer
Cooking Frozen Spring Rolls in an Air Fryer is one of the best ways to cook Chinese spring rolls. There is no mess or clean-up, and the method uses very little oil compared to deep frying them.
No excess oil means that the Air Fried Frozen Spring Rolls are healthier than the deep-fried ones!
This air fryer method will give you perfectly golden brown and crispy spring rolls (egg rolls) from the freezer to the plate in under 20 minutes.
The only difference between air-fried frozen spring rolls and deep-fried spring rolls is their color. The deep-fried ones are darker in color than the air-fried ones, but their crispness is comparable.
Serve them as a snack or a delicious appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce for birthday parties, game nights, movie nights, house parties, or a simple Chinese meal.
Ingredients
Frozen Spring Rolls (Egg Rolls) – You can get any brand of spring rolls from the frozen section of your grocery store. Vegetable spring rolls, chicken spring rolls, ground pork spring rolls, or any other will do.
Chung’s gourmet food’s vegetable spring rolls and Trader Joe’s chicken spring rolls are my personal top favorites.
You can also choose between mini spring rolls or large spring rolls. The cooking time will differ, though.
You can also make my Homemade Spring Rolls and freeze them. Then, just air fry them whenever you want to serve them.
Oil – Any neutral oil, like light olive oil, rapeseed oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, etc., would do. You can also use a cooking oil spray.

Brush or spray with oil on the other side as well.
Place the basket back in the fryer and air fry for seven more minutes.
If you like extra crispy spring rolls, air fry them for another 2-4 minutes.
Crispy air fryer spring rolls are ready. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Pro Tips By Neha
Every air fryer model differs, so you may have to adjust the time accordingly. Start with 7 + 7 minutes of cooking time, then increase the cooking time if they are still not crispy or warm.
The cooking time will be different for egg rolls of different sizes. Adjust it accordingly.
Always cook in a single layer so that the spring rolls cook evenly. Layering will result in soggy spring rolls. If you want to cook more, do that in batches.
I never pre-heat the air fryer, and my spring rolls always turn perfectly fine.

To deep-fry, heat oil in a pan, and once it is hot enough, drop the spring rolls. Deep fry until golden brown and crisp.
